Close to Haram, clean modern rooms, daily room service, good breakfast, affordable dining.

I chose Elaf Al Mashaer Hotel Makkah for its proximity to the holy mosque, but was pleasantly surprised by the delicious Asian cuisine and 24-hour room service at the two onsite restaurants.

Expensive paid parking and subpar cleanliness.
